Sunnah Gallery is a home-based company that sells contemporary Muslim products and specialty meal services. The client separates the two businesses – House of Ummah & Dapur Orang Kita, which fall under the parent umbrella of Sunnah Gallery.
House of Ummah focuses mainly on the selling of Islamic products, whereas Dapur Orang Kita caters to home cook meals via an online ordering system (on Facebook).
The main goal of this project is to combine all the business ideas – an eCommerce website for its products, present the food business and expressing the overall brand. I handled the overall project that encompassed various aspects of designing, from website development, product branding, and designing the 3 logos.
As Sunnah Gallery main business branding towards an Islamic concept, hence the logo designs had touch of Islam symbols such as moon crescent and Arabic design motifs.
The goal of the client’s main logo – House of Ummah, was to create the Islamic feeling. The logo styles are visually minimal using mostly iconic shapes and the color palate mainly monochrome.
The Final Logo
The use of monochrome color for the logo creates contrast against the background.
